ABOUT US
The Cal Transportation Team was founded on August 30, 2017 by Henry Hammel and his colleague Sam Shien Jinn. We plan the logistics, develop a cost analysis, and create hypothetical designs for various transportation systems in order to help them become more efficient.
Our work over the course of the year is mainly used in preparation for the transportation poster presentation session at the annual Mid-Pacific Conference. At this conference, we are able to showcase our skills and talents that we have developed and refined throughout the school year.
OUR MISSION
We wish to utilize our educational knowledge for real life project applications in order to gain a new perspective when studying and observing various transportation systems. With this experience, we hope to develop innovative ideas for more efficient systems of transportation to accommodate the rapidly growing population in our world.

The Cal Transportation Team is a small part of a bigger whole. The UC Berkeley Student Chapter of ASCE has been generous in supporting our ambitions and helping us complete our goals.
